Statement of Service
Traffic Study for
the San Antonio Community Hospital Expansion
A detailed traffic study was
performed by Raju Associates, Inc to assess the
impact of the proposed San Antonio Community
Hospital Expansion Project in the City of
Upland, California. For this project, Raju
worked closely with David Evans & Associates.
The project consisted of a four-story medical
building expansion, including basement, and
additional parking spaces created for the
facility. This study included the analyses of
numerous intersections in the area surrounding
the hospital, both current and future parking
conditions at the site, and access and
circulation at the proposed driveways providing
access to parking for the project.
Existing traffic conditions were analyzed at the
site, and future traffic conditions for 2010 and
2015 were developed both with and without the
project as well, to examine the impacts of the
proposed project (if any). Based on those
findings, project-specific mitigation measures
were developed and recommended. Utilizing these
improvements would return any locations that
might have failing levels of service to
acceptable levels of service.
