1206 Lincoln Avenue Westminster Academy Project Traffic Study
Raju Associates, Inc. prepared a detailed traffic study to assess the
traffic impacts of the proposed Westminster Academy School project located
within the City of Pasadena, California. Westminster Academy was located
in the Eagle Rock area, and as proposed, was to relocate to Pasadena. The
project consisted of a private school, kindergarten through 8th grade,
with a future enrollment of 250 students. The existing project site
included a Sunday school for the adjacent church, and contained all
of the necessary facilities for the project, though some reconfiguration
of the interior of the buildings was required.
Raju Associates was involved in all aspects of the study including development
of a memorandum of understanding (MOU) detailing the scope, assumptions and
parameters to be used in the study, preparation of traffic impact analysis,
and identification of mitigation measures. Raju Associates worked closely
with the City staff and representatives of the project applicant throughout
the course of this study.
This traffic study included the analyses of numerous intersections and
roadway segments in the area surrounding the project site, proposed parking
conditions at the site, and access and circulation at the proposed
driveways providing access to parking for the project, and was prepared
consistent with the City of Pasadena’s Transportation Impact Review –
Current Practice and Guidelines document.
